17th Century Barn, Ockbrook

This early 17^th Century Barn makes up part of a Grade ll listed Farmhouse. EDS helped the owner to convert it into a bedroom and link it to the main house.  The original square timber panelling, thatched roof and timber post trusses made this a challenging application as the heritage is of the barn is of significant architectural importance. Character projects like this require sympathetic approaches, and a close working relationship with the Conservation team.
