Old Farm, Ashbourne

This rustic and charming farm is nestled in the heart of the Ashbourne countryside. It comprises of a brick-built farmhouse and a number of outbuildings which are attractive and contribute to the heritage & character of the village. Our proposal was to remove the existing extension and replace it with a better designed structure. We also made alterations to the farmhouse including, the conversion of the loft to create a new bedroom, linking the farmhouse to the closest of the outbuildings and creating a new kitchen space. The latter part of the proposal was to repair and convert part of the large outbuilding into visitor accommodation.

As is the case with some of the larger conversion projects, they are a labour of love and tend to be ongoing for a substantial time period. This one is coming along nicely.
